    Comedian Mada Venkateshwara Rao Passes Away At 65

    Well known Tollywood comedian Mada Venkateshwara Rao breathed his last on October 24. The 65 year-old passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Saturday night. According to the reports, he was undergoing a treatment for respiratory problems.

    He started his career as an engineer in the State electricity department, but later he switched to theatre and started impressing everyone with his acting skills as a stage artist. He was introduced in the industry by late director Bapu with "Muthyala Muggu" in 1975. But he got recognition in the industry after his work in Dasari Narayana Rao's "Chillara Kottu Chittemma".

    The comedian acted in more than 300 films and was praised for playing the role of eunuch in as many as 70 films. He gave many memorable performances between 70’s to 80’s. He went on to act for three decades in the Telugu Film Industry. Telugu cinema has lost a great comedian and an actor.
