Deepti Sati Roped In For Comic Thriller

With just two movies to her credit, actress Deepti Sati has become one of the promising faces of the South entertainment industry. The actress made her debut as the lead heroine in the title role of Lal Jose's movie Nee-Na alongside Vijay Babu and Ann Augustine in 2015 and then bilingual Telugu-Kannada movie Jaguar happened in 2016. Deepti was paired opposite Nikhil Godwa in Jaguar.

The Femina Miss Kerala 2012 title holder has signed her next Telugu flick. Her second Telugu flick is touted to be a comic thriller. As per sources, the yet untitled flick will be woman centric movie in which Deepti will play the central character. The actress will be joining the shoot of the flick from next month in Kochi.

When asked about the flick and her character, Deepti said, “The thriller genre is new for me and that is the main reason, I am excited about this project.  I am confident that the interesting script and gripping narration will strike a chord with the movie lovers.  I play an independent girl who has her own views. The movie will be loaded with comic scenes and the role gives me opportunity to prove comic timing.”
