Dheepa Ramanujam To Play Mahesh Babu’s Mother In Murugadoss’ Film

Last week it was reported that Nadhiya has been roped in for Mahesh Babu’s film with A.R. Murugadoss. The veteran actress will be seen playing wife of S.J. Surya who will play the lead antagonist in the film. Now, another actress has been roped in by the makers.

Reports suggest that Dheepa Ramanujam has been roped in to play the role of Mahesh Babu’s mother in the flick. A source from the film’s unit confirmed the news and said, "Dheepa has been signed on to play Mahesh's mother in the film. Her role in 'Pichaikkaran', where she played a mother, appealed to the masses and Murugadoss felt she'd be perfect for his film too”.

Reportedly, the actress will begin shooting for first schedule of the yet-to-be titled venture in August.  The film will have Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead. The makers are now busy finalizing the rest of the cast for the project.
