Every family in Telugu households treat Anjali Devi as a mother, says Dasari Narayana Rao

Death of veteran actress Anjali Devi has saddened many within the industry and outside the industry as well. The actress did 350 Telugu films in her career. Filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao expressed his grief over her demise, “Anjali Devi was the most attached actress in Telugu Film Industry. Every family in Telugu households treat her as a mother. Incidentally, she was also the Mother in my first film 'Tata Manavadu' and was greatly instrumental in the film's success.”

Dasari directed Anjali in over two dozen of his movies. The maker specially loved her depiction of Sita in the classic Lava Kusha and he feels that it will remain in the hearts of many forever. He said that he will pray for her soul to rest in peace. Anjali was not only a beautiful artist but was also a great human being; her work will always be cherished by her enthusiasts.
