‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ Roped In A Kannada Superstar?

Nandamuri Balakrishna is leaving no stone unturned to make his forthcoming flick ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ a memorable film. Bankrolled by Saibabu Jagarlamudi and Y. Rajeev Reddy under First Frame Entertainment banner, the touted historical action film is being helmed by ace director Krish. ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ is Balakrishna’s 100th film and has been named as the costliest film ever made in the career of the actor.

The recent reports about this film have revealed that Kannada superstar Shiv Rajkumar will be seen playing a guest yet crucial role in the movie. He will be shooting for his part in November. Shriya Saran plays the female lead in this flick in which Nandamuri is playing the titular role.

It is anticipated that the audio and the theatrical trailer of the movie will be released in December. However, the flick will hit the screens on January 12, 2017, during Sankranthi. As per sources, Balayya will be seen as a warrior king in ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ and his performance is said to be the film’s major highlight. Interestingly, Bollywood’s dream girl Hema Malini is also playing a vital role in this movie.
