Ghazi Art Director Roped In For Mahanati

director is back with a Telugu- Tamil bilingual movie, Mahanati, which is a biopic of a legendary South actress Savitiri. The latest in the front is that Ghazi’s art director Shivam Rao has been taken on board for the bilingual Telugu-Tamil movie.

Ghazi is India's first submarine warfare film based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistani submarine, during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The makers of the biopic on legendary actress Savitri decided to rope in Rao for the flick as he garnered lot of applause for his production design in Ghazi. The news was confirmed by the director who said that the biopic needs extensive art work, especially to recreate long forgotten era.

In the flick, actress Keerthy Suresh will play yesteryear actress Savitri, whereas Samantha will portray the role of a journalist. Actor Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing love interest of Samantha and Dulquer Salmaan as Shivaji Ganeshan. The music will be scored by Mickey J Meyer. The biopic is being hyped as one of its kind biopic in the history of film-making.
