‘Ghazi’ Featuring Rana Daggubati To Release Next Year In February

Ghazi is an upcoming bilingual submarine based war film. This flick is directed by debutant Sankalp and features Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. This film is high on the expectations of both the audience and the critics as it apparently has an exclusive theme. The movie is based on the true incidents of the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan Submarine, by destroyer INS Rajput (D141) during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

As per the latest reports, the makers of ‘Ghazi’ have decided to release their project next year. Allegedly, February 24 has been locked as the release date of this film whose release rights have been bagged by veteran Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar. ‘Ghazi’ will also feature Kay Kay Menon, Satyadev Kancharana, Atul Kulkarni, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Rahul Singh and Akshay Mittal.

Made on a hefty budget, 'Ghazi' will feature eye popping visuals with special VFX effects. This film is concurrently being made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The music of this magnum opus is composed by K. It is expected that this film will completely portray the story of an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine S21 and his team who remain underwater for 18 days.
