    ‘Ghazi’ Is Going To Be One Of Its Kind: Taapsee Pannu

    After celebrating the sheer success of her last outing ‘Pink’, Taapsee Pannu is really excited about her forthcoming film with versatile actor Rana Daggubati. Taapsee and Rana will play the leads in an impending bilingual submarine based war film ‘Ghazi’. The 29-year-old actress feels that the film is one of its kinds.

    In a telephonic conversation with IANS from Hyderabad, Taapsee said, “I am very proud to a part of that film (‘Ghazi’). It’s going to be one of its kind… India’s first submarine film based on a real incident of how the (Pakistani) Ghazi submarine was sunk.” She further adds about her distinct role in the film, “I play a Bangladeshi refugee and the film is due to release soon. I think it is undergoing some graphic work… It is the only period film I have done so far.”

    ‘Ghazi’ will be simultaneously made in Hindi and Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil. It is learnt that the film is partially based on the book Blue Fish. Interestingly, Director Karan Johar has bagged the release rights of this film which is to be helmed by debutant Sankalp. Moreover, Kay Kay Menon, Satyadev Kancharana, Atul Kulkarni, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Rahul Singh and Akshay Mittal will also be a part of this forthcoming project.
