Graphic Designer Held Up For Leaking Baahubali 2 Battle Scene!

Tollywood industry these days is rather going through a turmoil after Baahubali 2's 9 minute video clip was leaked online. In the wake of thissurprising incident, a graphic designer has been arrested for having leaked the raw war sequence of the S.S. Rajamouli directorial. As soon as the footage was leaked and went viral on the net, Hyderabad Cyber Crime squad detained the graphic designer for stealing the video from the studio and sharing it online. The suspect has been recognised as Ainampudi Krishna, who was residing in a hostel at Shaikpet and was a trainee video editor at Annapurna Studios.

Within hours of the leaked semi-rendered CGI shots of lead actors Anushka Shetty and Prabhas, one of the producers of the film, Mr Shobu Yarlagadda filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime police in the Central Crime Station. As per reports, the producer had received a notification on WhatsApp from one of his associate, who broke the news of two videos of with duration of 2.50 minutes’ being leaked on the social media. Having looked into the matter, the police officials said that the suspect stole the videos in a pen drive from the editing bay and shared it with his friends in Vijayawada.

According to Cyber Crimes ACP K.C.S. Raghuvir, the accused had shared the stolen footage with his friends Akki Chaitanya and Aishwarya, both were from Vijayawada. However, the suspect was arrested post an investigation and also his mobile phone and the computer which he was using for editing has been seized for scrutiny. A complaint has been lodged under the Copyrights Act and significant sections of the IT Act, the Cyber Crimes ACP added.
