Guru Is The Most Challenging Role Of My Filmy Career: Venkatesh

Helmed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, Telugu movie Guru released last Friday on March 31. The film is doing exceptionally well at the box-office and has raked in enough money. Guru, featuring Victory Venkatesh and Ritika Singh, has just not entertained the audiences but has also garnered applauds from the critics.

Seeing the response, the team held a success party of the film and thanked his fans and movie goers for the appreciation. Venkatesh said, “ In the three decades of my filmy career, my role in Guru is most challenging and  the movie will always  remain as a special one”. The female lead of the flick also thanked the audience for the good response. She said, “I feel very lucky as Guru marks my Telugu debut and I am really very happy as the movie got good response”.

The film, which revolves around a professional boxing coach Aditya Rao and a girl who goes through struggle to make it big in the wrestling world, earned Rs 10.41 crore in just three days from both the Telugu states. Guru is the remake of Tamil movie Irudhi Suttru. Helmed by Sudha Kongra Prasad, Guru was bankrolled by S. Shashikanth on Y Not Studios banner.
