    Harshvardhan Rane In The Hindi Remake Of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Gharshana’?

    Mani Ratnam has served the industry with countless splendid flicks. One such directorial masterpiece was ‘Gharshana’, released in 1988. Now, this film is being made in Hindi and allegedly, the 32-year-old actor, Harshvardhan Rane, has seized a key role in it. The popular Bollywood director, Bejoy Nambiar, will direct this reprise version.

    Harshvardhan says, “I got a call from Bejoy after he saw my performance in Sanam Teri Kasam. I’m a big fan of Bejoy’s work and love his style of filmmaking. I understand that the film is a remake and comparisons are inevitable; however, I would like to approach the film with a fresh perspective.” “Telugu film industry is where I began my movie career. I’m keen on doing more films in Telugu in future too,” he added.

    The principal filming of the movie will commence soon. Harshvardhan also has a Telugu movie in his sack that will be shot in the USA. He made his Bollywood debut with ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ which was released on February 5. He played the male lead in it named, Inder Parihaar.
