    Hema Malini To Play Balayya’s Mother In His 100th Film?

    Fans have been eagerly waiting for Balakrishna’s 100th film to kick-start. Their wait will finally come to an end on April 8, when the film will be launched. The Dictator actor will be playing the role of Gautamiputra Satakarni, an emperor who ruled Amaravati during 2nd century, in the historical-drama.

    Rumour has it that director Krish is planning to rope in veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini for the role of Balayya’s mother. The actress was last seen in a Telugu film in 1965 titled ‘Pandava Vanavasamu’, alongside N. T. Rama Rao. The other name that the makers are considering for the same role is of Shobana’s.

    Reports suggest that Gautami could be seen playing a crucial role in the historical based film. Soon an official announcement can be expected from the makers regarding the crew and cast. The regular shooting of the flick will commence from April 22. Taraka Ratna may play the antagonist in the historical-drama, tentatively titled as 'Yodhudu'.
