The ‘Dream Girl’ of Bollywood, Hema Malini, has served the film industry for more than five decades. The actress-cum-politician turned nostalgic while talking about her comeback in Tollywood. Currently, she is shooting for ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ in the temple town of Maheshwar, in Madhya Pradesh.

Hema reveals, “Telugu is quite similar to my mother tongue Tamil. So I say my Telugu dialogues in Tamil, sometimes even in English. It’s actually quite a lot of fun. I started my career with a dance number in a Telugu film when I was only 17. Then, I did another Telugu film six years later. After that, I never got a chance to do any Telugu film until now.”

About her ongoing project, Hema says, “Initially, I said no to the film as I don’t know Telugu. But the role is wonderful. I play the role of queen Gauthami and Balakrishna plays my son. He is an easy going co-star to work with. In fact, the entire team is very nice.”

‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film and is slated to release on January 12, 2017.
