Here Is What Guru Earned In Its First Weekend

Helmed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, Telugu flick Guru released on last Friday on March 31. The film is getting positive reviews from the critics and is being applauded by the audiences too.  Guru is the remake of Tamil movie Irudhi Suttru.

The film, which revolves around a professional boxing coach Aditya Rao and a girl who goes through struggle to make it big in the wrestling world, earned Rs 10.41 crore in just three days. The collections were of both the Telugu states. The weekend collection of this movie was behind Babu Bangaram, which earned Rs 15.30 Cr gross at AP/TS box office in its first weekend.

After the first weekend, the movie raked in Rs 6.45 Cr for its distributors. Helmed by Sudha Kongra Prasad, Guru was bankrolled by S. Shashikanth on Y Not Studios banner. The film featured Venkatesh and Ritika Singh in the lead roles.
