I Want To Serve The People And Become The Voice Of My Surroundings: Manchu Manoj

Actor Manchu Manoj is all set to be seen in the upcoming film Okkadu Migiladu, directed by Ajay Andrews. The film is based on the life of slain LTTE supremo Prabhakaran. Manoj will be seen playing dual characters in the film. He plays Prabhakaran in the devastated land of Sri Lanka and a college student in India.

The actor recently revealed that he is not keen on signing any film after this project. He said, “I don’t want to do films after this is completed. I want to serve the people and become the voice of my surroundings”. However, as his family doesn’t support him in this and wants him to continue doing films Manoj has revealed that he has signed another project with debut director Chandra. He said, “I will take a six month break and start my next film in April 2018”.

Moreover, talking about his film, Manoj said, “It’s not a typical commercial film and has no romance or comedy. But when director Ajay came to me with the script, I felt it was a responsibility to do this film,” says Manchu Manoj, adding that the director did a lot of research on Prabhakaran before writing the script. “It’s an intense emotional drama”. The film is going to hit theatres on November 10.
