I Was Never Taught About Gautami Putra Satakarni In History: Shriya

Gautami Putra Satakarni is all set to release today and it is expected to break all the earlier records set by any Tollywood movie. The film, which is hyped as the 100^th movie of Natasimha Balakrishna, features Shriya saran and Hema Malini among others. While interacting with the media persons, Shriya bares her heart out about the character Gautami Putra Satakarni and her chemistry with Balakrishna.

About the character Gautami Putra Satakarni, the actress said, “We were taught about so many legendary figures of Indian history but Gautamiputra Satakarni wasn’t one of them. I was surprised to learn of his greatness. The last day of the shoot really upset me because I didn’t want the experience to end”.

Shriya and Balakrishna have earlier also paired up for two movies but this time it was different. When asked this, she said, “It’s a completely different setting and film, so it was not the same as before. Our interactions and discussions were different too. This film required a lot of effort, from dialogues to the way we dressed. In that sense, we did bond”.

The movie released today and it would be interesting to see what it earns at the box-office at the end of the day.
