Illayaraja, Yuvan Shankar Raja To Come Together For A Film

Veteran music composer Illayaraja is a prominent name when it comes to Indian music and predominantly in the Tollywood industry. Not only Illayaraja, but his three sons are also musicians and are working in the Tollywood industry for more than 20 years. His youngest son and music directior Yuvan Shankar Raja, is also as famous as his father. The duo has, however, still not worked together under any project.

The latest in the front will bring a smile on their fans’ face. The veteran music composer and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja are all set to team up. If reports are anything to go by, Illayaraja will compose songs and background score for an upcoming film with his son. The project will be a Seenu Ramasam directorial. Ramasam is well-known for making movies like Neerparavai,  Thenmerkku Paruva Kaatru and Dharma Durai.

Helmed by Ramasam, the yet-untitled project will be bankrolled by Yuvan under the banner of YSR Studios. The film will see actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. This is the second movie produced by Yuvan. His debut production venture Kolayuthir Kaalam starring lady superstar Nayantara is near completion.
