Isha Koppikar To Play A COP In A Tollywood Film?

In the 18 years of her filmy career, Isha Koppikar has worked in two Tollywood films only. However, it was recently updated that she is soon to make do a Telugu flick. The 40-year-old actress, whose first Telugu movie was ‘Chandralekha’, will now be seen in Sudheer Verma's ‘Keshava’. This project will also star Nikhil Siddhartha and Ritu Varma.

As per the latest reports, Isha Koppikar will be seen essaying the role of a cop in ‘Keshava’. Isha revealed her character in the impending flick. She says, "Well, I play this really cool police officer who's been appointed for a special investigation. It's not a typical khaki-clad cop role. In fact, I'm not wearing khaki at all. I'll be seen in sharp shirts, trousers, cargoes et al, how a Hollywood cop looks."

After a gap of almost 15 long years, Isha will be seen in a Telugu film. ‘Prematho Raa’, which released in 2001, was her last Telugu outing. Her upcoming film ‘Keshava’ completed its first schedule in Vizag recently. The team will return to Hyderabad mid-next month to complete the rest of the shoot. Interestingly, Isha will be seen performing hapkido, which is a Korean martial art form.
