Rumours are making the rounds that Jagapathi Babu has been roped in for megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, which is the official remake of the Tamil hit, 'Kaththi', which was directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The yet-untitled Telugu project will be produced by Chiranjeevi’s son and Tollywood charmer Ram Charan. Reportedly, the Srimanthudu actor, who is busy with more than half a dozen southern projects, hasn't been signed on yet.

Jagapathi disclosed, "The makers did initiate talks with me a few months ago. But, I haven't heard back from them. Contrary to rumours, I haven't signed the project”.

According to sources, the Lakshyam actor might play the antagonist in the movie. Currently, Jagapathi is shooting with Tamil superstar Vijay for his yet-untitled 60th Kollywood movie. He also has several other projects such as 'Oxygen', 'Ism' and 'Puli Murugan' in his kitty.

The much anticipated Chiranjeevi’s next is expected to release in January next year.
