Jayasudha Is Thrilled To Play Mahesh Babu’s Mother In Vamsi Paidipally’s Next

Now there is no more confusion over who is playing Mahesh Babu’s mother in Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi. The name is finally out and it Is not Jayaprada, but her good friend, Jayasudha. The actress has shot for the film a month ago and this will be her third film with Mahesh Babu after Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Brahmotsvam.

“There was some miscommunication because of which Jayaprada’s name cropped up. I have completed shooting for my parts in the film,” Jayasudha clarifies. She will play the role of Prakash Raj’s wife. The two were last seen in Srinivasa Kalyanam and will again reunite for Mani Ratnam’s Nawab.

The veteran actress expressed her excitement and said, “There is no change in the way he approaches his films. Mani Ratnam sir remains a standard that not many can match. his passion towards filmmaking made me feel like a newcomer on the sets. The whole experience felt new and there is so much to learn about the craft from him. I fell in love with cinema all over again”.

 The film is special to her because it’s coming after Sakhi. “This is my first film with Santosh Sivan. Reuniting with AR Rahman too has been memorable. I’ve known him since his days as a keyboard player. There might be many stars in the film, but all roles are very balanced and well-defined. Everyone was extremely professional. Vijay Sethupathi even came down and introduced himself as an actor, showing respect to seniors like me,” says Jayasudha.
