Jyothika To Step Into Vidya Balan’s Character In Sulu Remake

Actress Jyothika’s latest release Naachiyaar has been lauded by audiences and the actress looks very tough as a cop in the film. Latest news reveals that the actress will be seen in another project, which is going to be a sequel to the Bollywood film Sulu starring Vidya Balan in the lead role. It has been heard that Jyothika will be reprising Vidya’s role.

Moreover, reports reveal that the actress has already signed the Tamil remake of the 2017 Bollywood hit Tumhari Sulu. The film will be a Radha Mohan directorial, who had earlier worked in Mozhi with Jyothika. In the film, she had portrayed a speech-hearing impaired girl, which turned out to be a career-defining role for her.

Further, at the work front, the actress has starred in films like 36 Vayadhinile and a remake of Manju Warrior’s Malayalam blockbuster How Old Are You and is currently busy Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. Meanwhile, the actress had earlier confirmed that she will play only meaningful roles that contain social message. Vidya Balan’s Sulu was critically acclaimed by all and it also received several awards.
