He has assembled a great cast for the film, first he roped in Bollywood actress Hema Malini for the film and then brought Kabir Bedi on-board for a crucial role in the film.

Reports suggest that the actor will be playing a negative character in the flick. Sources claim that his characterisation will be quite impressive and he will portray a larger than life image in the historical based film. He will play the role of Nahapana, the king overpowered by Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Currently, the team is busy canning one of the mega war sequences of the film for which the makers have spent Rs. 8 crore. After wrapping up the Morocco schedule, the team will fly back to Hyderabad for the next schedule, for which a set is being erected in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The film is being bankrolled under First Frame Entertainment banner and is slated for a January 12, 2017 release.
