Kamal to make film on Mollywoods first filmmaker

Noted South Indian director Kamal is going to make a Malyalam movie on legendryfilmmaker J C Daniel starring Prithviraj in the lead role. The film, which is titled as Celluloid willreportedly narrate the story of the origin of the Malayalam film industry and contributions of Daniel,who made the first film in the language. Celluloid, which is being produced by Ubaid and Kamal, will alsohave Samvrutha Sunil and Sreenivasan in key roles. Kamal is busy in the scripting work currently and theshooting of the film is expected to begin from coming August.
