Khaidi No. 150 Audio Launch Event In Trouble

Chiranjeevi’s massive audio launch event of Khaidi No. 150 has landed in hot waters. The function that is being scheduled for Christmas has been questioned by many sports body over the use of use of the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium (IGMS) as venue.

Their protest is over the order from AP High Court, on writ petition 38639 of 2015, which says that the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium is not to be allotted for any activity other than that relating to games and sports. Though, AP Badminton Association (APBA) CEO Karanam Chenchu Punnaiah Chowdary has a different take on the issue, “It is nothing new. In 1974 itself, IGMS was given to Dasara Bullodu function”, he defended.

AP Olympic Association treasurer, K.P. Rao, shared the similar opinion and said Chiranjeevi is a celebrity and Vijaywada folks love him and his movies. Khaidi No. 150 is a landmark film, which would be his 150th and a comeback flick after so many years.
