Know How Venkatapuram Became A Superhit

After a series of unsuccessful movies, it seems that Telugu actor Rahul Tyson is back in form again with his new flick ‘Venkatapuram’. Rahul, who plays the role of a rampageous young man, has performed a complete make-over to his image. The movie has received a huge response from the audience.

In spite of the fact, that the thriller flick was released only in limited number of cinema halls (over 200 screens) on May 12. The suspense-crime-action movie has raked in Rs 97 lakh gross at the worldwide box office in the first weekend and earned Rs. 70+ lakh to its distributors in three days. It is said that the reason behind the movie’s success is the promotional strategy performed by the makers in which they released 9-minute long scene from the movie on youtube as well as the word of mouth.

The story of the movie circles around Anand (Rahul), Chaitra (Mahima Makhwana) and two cops (played by Ajay and AjayGhosh).The movie is penned and directed by Venu Madikanti and produced by Good Cinema Group.
