Koratala Siva Talks About Plagiarism Case Regarding ‘Srimanthudu’

Few days back, the makers of Mahesh Babu’s last offering ‘Srimanthudu’ received a legal notice from the city civil court. The court served the notice to the makers because of a petition filed by Sarath Chandra, a writer. He claims that the story of the blockbuster film has been taken from his novel Chachentha Prema.

The director of the flick Koratala Siva has finally spoken about the issue. He said that being a writer himself he can never think of plagiarizing the story of another writer. He added that people can compare both, the film and the novel and see if the two match or not.

The issue has been noticed to director Koratala Siva, Mythri Movie Makers, C.V. Mohan and Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who plans to star in the remake of the flick. The writer has also lodged a complaint at Telugu Film Writer's Association. The association will present the case in the court if they are asked to do so.
