Krish Jagarlamudi Talks About Kanche

The Varun Tej starrer Kanche is going to hit theatres soon on October 22 and the director Krish Jagarlamudi has revealed what influenced him in making the movie. The movie will be based on the World War II era and has a strong script. The director stated, “There is a risk in making any film but if you narrate it in a gripping way and put in a lot of emotion, everyone will immediately connect with it”.

Krish also revealed what got him thinking about the plot for the film. “One day, I came to know that Visakhapatnam had a connection with World War II and nearly 25 lakh soldiers had fought the war from there. I was surprised to hear this and decided to narrate a love story with one of the soldiers as the main lead. Certain stories are so inspiring that you want to narrate them to everybody”, he said.

The Vedam director also praised Varun for his acting skills. Krish stated, “He was our first and final choice for the film. The kid has got tremendous potential and worked really hard for the film. He has done an amazing job in Kanche and will be a force to reckon with after the film’s release”.
