Writer-turned-director K.S. Ravindra, well know as Bobby in the film industry, deems himself as a fan of Pawan Kalyan first and then as the maker of Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The upcoming action drama is the sequel to the 2012 Telugu blockbuster Gabbar Singh. The much awaited flick is scheduled for release on April 8.

Recently, the screenwriter shared the first-ever feeling he experienced after meeting his idol. Expressing the moment, Bobby said, "I was just praying that I won't faint the moment I see him. I got a call from Sharat Marar, asking me to meet Pawan Kalyan about a project. The day we were scheduled to meet, Kalyan babu was at his farmhouse tending to his plants. We spoke like any two random people would. There were no starry airs. It was only after I sat in my car that it finally sank in that I met the Power Star”.

The Power director also disclosed an Achilles' heel of the Attarintiki Daredi actor. Bobby revealed, "Kalyan babu has a weakness! When I needed to convince him to pull off a certain mannerism or a move for a scene, I just had to say Sir, fans kosam. He would immediately oblige! If we mentioned fans, he would do anything. I would whistle and cheer every time he gave a great shot”.
