KTR: Tharun is leading a transformation in the Telugu film industry

Director Tharun Bhascker has been praised by both critics and fans for his work. After making an amazing debut with the successful rom-com entertainer Pelli Choopulu, he is back again with his next movie 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi', which releases this Friday. The film is produced by Suresh Productions.

The movie had its pre-release event in the city on Monday and the guest f honour was none other than IT Minister KT Rama Rao. KTR was all praise for Tharun during the event. He said that he was delighted to see the young filmmaker stay grounded, despite the phenomenal success of his debut film 'Pelli Choopulu'. "Once a director gets his first blockbuster, his second film is usually a multi-crore project with huge sets and featuring big stars. So I was surprised to hear that Tharun was doing a film with a fresh star cast," KTR said.

The IT Minister has tweeted his opinion about films that he has liked it on several occasions. KTR said, "I love buddy films like Dil Chahta, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Hangover. And I think this film will be of that genre. There is a transformation sweeping the Telugu film industry right now and I'm glad to see Tharun leading this along this other young filmmaker like Sandeep (Arjun Reddy director) and Sankalp (Ghazi director)”.
