Lyricist Kulasekhar under arrest

Well-known face of the Telugu industry, lyricist Kulasekhar is behind bars. Well, you are hearing it right. The writer, who has contributed in over 100 films through his songs, has been taken in to custody for thieving a silver headgear of Lord Hanuman from a temple in Kakinada. The headgear was reportedly missing from quite some time.

Kulasekhar is sentenced to a six-month jail by a fifth additional magistrate. His works feature in various films, including Chitram, Jayam, Nuuvu Nenu, Gharshana, etc. He has also tried hands in direction. His directorial debut marks Prema Lekha Raasaa. Kulasekhar is not in a good health for many years. He is suffering from a mental disorder where he refuses to identify his known ones.
