Mahesh Babu adopts his native village in Guntur

Joining the league of celebs adopting a village each under the government’s ‘Adarsh Gram Yojna’, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu too has joined to make an effort. The actor has adopted a very remote village in Andhra in the district of Guntur.

While the village he chose was his native one, the name is Burripalem. Brother in law Galla Jayadev, who is a TDP MP from Guntur, also confirmed the news. Mahesh Babu is a known philanthropist and likes making contributions to charity. He along with wife Namrata Shirodhkar, have been active in being generous enough to make charity.
