Mahesh Babu Denies Suggesting Suriya For ‘24’

It is known that director Vikram Kumar of Manan fame will collaborate with Mahesh Babu for one of his future projects. The director’s recent release ‘24’, which was also released in Telugu, is doing a fabulous business at the box office. Suriya played the lead in the film and rumours were doing the rounds that Mahesh Babu suggested the actor for the film.

While promoting his upcoming film ‘Brahmotsavam’, the Srimanthudu actor denied the rumours and said that he did not suggest Suriya for the flick, which was initially offered to him. He said, "Though I loved the script, when Vikram narrated it to me, I couldn't somehow picture myself in the film. I knew it will be a good film".

Mahesh added that he did watch the science fiction thriller and realized that only Suriya could pull it off. When questioned about his film with Vikram Kumar, the Aagadu actor preferred not to talk much about it. He is expected to join hands with the director after wrapping up his film with Murugadoss, which is yet to go on floors.
