Mahesh Babu Takes His Decisions Himself

The son of first Telugu superstar Krishna, Mahesh Babu is himself a Tollywood superstar today. The actor comes from a movie background and faced the camera at the age of four as a child artist in ‘Needa’ (1979). His first leading role was in the film ‘Rajakumarudu’, which was released in August 1999.

It is self understood that the actor must have got the benefit of being a son of Tollywood’s first superstar. As well as, there might be some influence of the family in finalizing stories, scripts and directors for Mahesh. But, when asked from Mahesh, this was not the case.

“I don’t like anybody to involve in my choice of projects. I will alone listen to story and I will alone decide on whether to do it or reject it. I follow this strict principle since the starting stages of my career. I never discussed a story with my father. I judge a story by myself. It’s an ever learning process since my first film. This is a fifteen years journey. I believe of having earned enough experience and knowledge in these fifteen years to anticipate outcome of a script”, said Mahesh Babu in an interview.
