The shoot of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Brahmotsavam’ is progressing at great pace. The team has put the top gear and is now aiming to wrap up the film as early as possible. Earlier scheduled to release on April 29, the film has been postponed and will now release in May.

According to reports, the new release date of the Srikanth Addala directorial has been locked. The family-drama will now hit the screens on May 20. The actor will be hoping to break the May jinx this time. Two of his films, ‘Nijam’ and ‘Naani’, have earlier released in May, and both the films failed to perform at the box office.

Also, the makers are planning to unveil another teaser of the flick on April 8, on the occasion of Telugu New year ‘Ugadi’. Reportedly, the audio launch event will be held at Tirupati on April 24. Mickey J Meyer has scored music for the film which features Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Pranitha Subhash as female leads.
