Mahesh Completely Surrendered To The Character Once He Came On Board: Koratala Siva

Koratala Siva’s directorial Bharat Ane Nenu is all set to release tomorrow on April 20. The flick, starring Mahesh Babu , is one of the most-anticipated movies of the actor. The handsome actor is playing the role of a Chief Minister in the film, co-starring Kiara Advani .

Talking about how the actor agreed upon playing the role of a politician, the director said, “When I was narrating the script he just kept laughing and telling me that this role wasn’t his cup of tea. ‘I’m afraid I won’t fit into the role’. But when I narrated the journey of the protagonist Bharat, he came on board”.

Siva also praised his actor for putting in so much effort for the role. He said, “You’ll have to watch the film to understand Bharat’s motivations. It is a very complex role and Mahesh completely surrendered to the character once he came on board. He watched hours and hours of parliamentary and state assembly proceedings to get a hang of the ambience, body language and the ways of the elected representatives”.

Helmed by Siva, the film is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya.
