Mammootty To Dub In Own Voice For His Role In YSR Biopic

It’s now not a breaking news that Malayalam superstar Mammootty will be seen portraying the role of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The film will be a biopic based on the minister in Telugu. We all know the superstar is a perfectionist and he has now shown it again.

If reports are to be believed, the actor will dub for the biopic in his own voice. This will be Mammootty’s comeback to Tollywood after more than 20 years. Helmed by Mahi Raghav, the film will be titled ‘Yatra’. The team will commence shooting for the film in June. Bankrolled by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy, the biopic will focus on the historic padayatra by the former Chief Minister before he came to the office.

After Bollywood, it seems Tollywood is the new industry where biopic is given so much importance. The other biopics in the pipeline are a biopic on former Chief Minister and legendary actor NTR , freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and coach of Indian badminton team, Pullela Gopichand.
