When Mani’s wife Suhasini Mani Ratnam was asked about the Mahesh Babu-Nagarjuna starrer she replied, "Mahesh Babu has other commitments so the multi-starrer has been delayed for now. I think he (Mani) is on his way to Hyderabad to meet a couple of people for another project.” A close source from the filmmaker’s end said, "The meeting was set up by actress Suhasini to discuss perspective films. One was to explore the possibility of Mani Ratnam directing Chiranjeevi's 150th film. Secondly, Mani Ratnam also sought to discuss the possibility of casting Ram Charan in a multi-starrer which Mahesh and Nagarjuna were supposed to act in but opted out.”

Though Chiranjeevi denied working on his 150th film with Ratnam he left the windows open for the Ram Charan film. A source said, "The duo had a long discussion about how Ram Charan would be projected. Chiranjeevi liked the plot line and gave the green signal in principle. Allu Arjun's name also came up in the discussion.” Stay hooked for more updates on the same.
