Meena to play the lead opposite Venkatesh

Southern actress Meena Durairaj is reportedly all set to play the female lead in the remake of Drishyam. The actress played the lead role in the original as well. According to grapevine, Meena will be romancing Daggubati Venkatesh in the new version of the movie. The two have worked together before also in Chanti, Sundarakanda, Suryavamsam and many more.

The name of the remake has not been announced yet. It is also being said that Venky will be reprising the character played by Mohanlal in the original. Meena would be enacting Venky’s wife’s role in the flick. Other than this, Meena is working on another Malyalam project as well. More confirmed inputs about the movie will be shared as and when available.
