Meenakshi Dutt To Star In A Horror Comedy

Actress Meenakshi Dixit was last seen in 2016 action-crime drama movie Laal Rang. The actress will be next starring in a horror comedy movie.

The upcoming movie is titled as ‘Lupt’. This movie will also mark the directorial debut of Prabhuraj. Regarding her role in the upcoming flick, Meenakshi was quoted as saying, “I play an independent Muslim girl hailing from an orthodox family. Amidst comedy of errors, the drama unfolds as I get kidnapped by a group”. On being asked about her absence in latest Tollywood movies, the actress further added, “I am not getting anything substantial in Telugu, and Kollywood is offering me interesting roles”.

 The actress received a lot of praises for her role in the Tamil movie Tenaliraman. The Bayam Oru Payanam star is currently filming for another comedy genre movie titled as ‘Takkar’, which is being directed by Barani Jaypal.
