    Mugamoodis first look launched

The first look and trailer of much-awaited Tamil superhero flick Mugamoodi starring Jiiva, Pooja Hegde and Narain in the lead role, was released by superstar Suriya at the Sathyam Cinemas here. The grand launch was also attended by other industry biggies like Gautham Menon, Kalaipuli S Thanu, KV Anand, Jayam Raja and SP Jananathan besides the team of the film. Speaking on the occasion, Tamil superstar Suriya said, Its good to be here along with all the giants of the film industry. Mysskin is a very good director. Every film of his is different from each other. Jiiva has been selecting his projects beautifully. The trailer shows the amount of efforts he has put in and it is making me want to see the entire film. I wish him and the entire crew all the best. Thanking every one for making the film possible, lead hero Jiiva said, After 5 years, kids will start calling me Mugamoodi uncle. Mysskin has transformed me like that in this film. He is such a meticulous worker, a perfectionist and Im sure this film will be a turning point in my career. Recalling a funny situation, co-actor Nassar said, Once during a night shoot, I told him that his costume was looking superb on him. He said that it was hell wearing the costume. But he also said that he was enjoying the pain. Main villain of the film Narain also thanked Mysskin, saying that the filmmaker brought out the barbarous villain, which was hidden inside him. Mysskin also expressed his gratitude to the producers, UTV, for making his dream project a reality. This project is my childhood dream and Im very happy with the way it is shaping up. The film required a lot of efforts, mainly from Jiiva. The costume he wears has 120 pieces. It is very heavy and has got no ventilation. It is impossible to wear it for more than 2 minutes. Believe it when I say, when Jiiva removes the dress after shoot, there will be smoke coming out of his body. He even suffered fungal infections due to the costume. But that never stopped him from working hard. He is very dedicated to his job.
