N Vasanth Kumar Talks About Vaisakham’s Music

Vaisakham is one of the small-budget Tollywood films and is expected to earn well at the box-office like other small-budget movies. Vaisakham is the first film to be shot in Kazakhstan. Helmed by B. Jaya, the flick is being bankrolled by a noted PRO in the Tollywood industry BA Raju. The flick’s music, by N Vasanth Kumar, was launched in Hyderabad recently and fans are applauding it.

After the music launch, Vasanth said, "I completely focussed on getting the songs to resonate with the story of the film, which, as I see it, is a romance with a subtle social message. So the songs and background music also reflect that mixture of melody as well as intensity". Vasanth has also scored for films like Sudigadu, Speedunnodu and Gunturodu.

Talking about which track his favourite, he said, "My favourite is the title track because it has a haunting melody. In fact, that's the reason the hook of the song is used many times throughout the film".  The film features Harish as the male lead and Avantika Mishra as the female lead. Avantika is making her Tollywood debut with the film.
