    Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Majnu’ Launched

Earlier this month it was reported that Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Majnu’, remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Premam’, will be launched on November 30. The film was officially launched on November 28, two days before the schedule date. It was launched at Ramanaidu Studios on a grand scale.

Naga Chaitanya’s younger brother Akhil Akkineni, who made his entry into Tollywood with ‘Akhil’, clapped the board, while Suresh Babu switched on the camera. The first shot of the flick was taken and it featured Naga Chaitanya along with Anupama Parameshwaran. The film also features Shruti Haasan as the female lead.

Reportedly, the regular shooting of the film will take place from December 3 in Vishakapatnam. Also, the story of the film has been modified a bit so that it suits the Telugu audience. Chandoo Mondeti will be helming the film and it will be funded by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. It will have music by Gopisundar and Rajesh Murugeshan.
