    Naga Chaitanya’s Premam To Hit Screens In August?

    If reports are to be trusted, Naga Chaitanya starrer Premam, the Telugu remake of the Malayalam coming-of-age musical-romantic comedy drama of the same name, has been scheduled for a worldwide release on August 12. The plot of the flick revolves around the love life of George (played by Nivin Pauly in the original one) and depicts the three stages of romance in the protagonist's life. The movie stars actress Shruti Haasan in the female role.

    A source from the movie’s unit told IANS, “The makers have locked August 12 as the release date. The film is nearing completion and the makers are planning to unveil the audio in July”. Helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, the flick also features Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameshwara in significant roles, both of whom will reprise their role from the original.

    The movie will be produced by S. Radha Krishna, S. Naga Vamshi and P.D.V. Prasad. The background score for the flick will be composed by Gopi Sunder and Rajesh Murugesan. Chaitanya will also be seen in romantic thriller Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo, which is slated to be released on July 15 this year.
