The actor opened up about his experience of playing a quadriplegic bound to a wheelchair. He said, "An assistant director was appointed just to check if I was moving my hands or legs even slightly while on the wheelchair. If I did, they'd re-shoot the scene again, as many times as required. It was extremely challenging, because at times my legs would go numb".

He added that while acting for the emotional scenes he instructed the crew to tie his hands and legs, so that he did not move them while getting into the character. He shared that the Vamsi Paidipally directorial has been adapted from French film ‘The Intouchables’, but unlike the original it has many comic scenes. The film also features Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia and is slated for March 25.
