    The Telugu remake of Malayalam crime thriller film, ‘Oppam’, is on the cards. This film was a decent hit in Malayalam and also bagged appreciation from audience and critics alike. The Telugu rights of ‘Oppam’ were bagged by a noted production house. Reportedly, they have approached Nagarjuna to reprise Mohanlal’s role.

    A source close to the 57-year-old actor said, "Nagarjuna, who did experimental films like ‘Gaganam’ and ‘Oopiri’, fits the bill perfectly for the lead character in Oppam and this is the reason he has been approached." The source added that he will take a call soon. Seemingly, Nag is very interested in the offer.

    Nagarjuna has watched ‘Oppam’ and he liked the film. In fact, he is perhaps impressed with the sensible narration. Although he has yet not given his consent for this remake, but a positive response from the actor is anticipated.
