    Nagarjuna Wishes to Play Ravana

    Actor, producer Akkineni Nagarjuna recently expressed his desire of playing the iconic mythological character of Ravanasura. The success of Koratala Siva’s ‘Baahubali’ is making the big stars try their luck with these characters. The actor revealed this information at the ‘Rise of Kali’ book launch in Hyderabad on Aug. 11. 

    The actor even added that he has been listening to mythological and folk stories since his childhood and he has grown up on NTR and ANR’s films. The senior actor showered praises on the team of ‘Baahubali’. He said that he is disappointed that he could not act in the film.

    The ‘Mass’ actor is currently busy shooting ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and the bilingual multi starrer with Karthi and Tamannaah. Nagarjuna, began his acting as a child artist in the 1967 Telugu film ‘Sudigundalu‘. The movie also had his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the lead role. Years later he made his debut as a lead actor through the 1986 Telugu film ’Vikram’.
