    The prestigiousTSR National Film Awards has been announced for the years of 2011-12. Nandamuri Balakrishna and Akkineni Nagarjunahave won the Best Actor awards forSri Rama RajyamandShirdi Sai, respectively. Tamannaah Bhatia for100% Loveand Anushka Shetty forDamarukamhave been adjudged the best heroines in the awards list. Srinu Vaitla has won the Best Director accolade forDookuduwhile PuriJagannadh bagged the same forBusinessman. The best actress awards for both the years have been announced for TapseeandSamanthaforMoguduandEega, respectively.

    The final selection of the awardees has been announced by jury chairman T. Subbarami Reddy at a press conference on Thursday. The trophies will be presented at a celebrity-packed ceremony at the Shilpa Kala Vedika on April 20. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, C. Narayana Reddy, D. Rama Naidu, P. Suseela, Jayasudha and Shobana Kamineni were the other prominent personalities who featured among the jury members.

    Rajanna, the film produced by Nagarjuna, will be given the Special jury awards for the year 2011, while special jury awards for 2012 has been announced for Manchu Vishnu (Denikaina Ready), Nitin (Ishq), Tanikella Bharani (Midhunam), Khadir Babu (Onamalu) and for Maddali Venkateswara Rao’sChaduvukovali, a children’s film. ‘Rebel’ star U.V. Krishnam Raju and veteran Kaikala Satyanarayanawill be awarded for Lifetime Achievement for the year of 2012 whileM. Mohan Babu has been named as ‘Best Actor of the Millennium’. Rajendra Prasad will be given the ‘Universal Performance Actor’ Award, K. Raghavendra Rao will bag the ‘Star Director of the Millennium’ and Dil Raju has been named the best producer.
