Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s ‘MLA’ To Lock Horns With ‘Mahanati’ And ‘Rangasthalam’ At Box Office?

Producers Kiran Reddy and Bharath Chowdary earlier collaborated for Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal ’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’. After the film, they are now bankrolling Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Kajal Aggarwal’s next film, MLA (Manchi Lakshanalunna Abbayi). The film is Upendra Madhav’s directorial debut.

The makers recently released a 39 seconds teaser of the film on the occasion Bhogi, which is the first day of the four-day Pongal festival. The teaser garnered positive reviews from the audiences and raised their expectations. Earlier reports claimed that the makers have booked April 6 to release the movie which was also blocked by 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' makers. Upon knowing this, MLA makers decided to go with a different date.

The latest in the front about the film is that it will now release on March 28. However, no official confirmation has been made yet. If the makers will go by March 28, their film will clash with Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan 's 'Mahanati' and Ram Charan's 'Rangasthalam'. However, the films will not directly clash with each other as 'Mahanati' and 'Rangasthalam' are scheduled for release on March 29 and 30 respectively.
