Well, it seems that actor Nani’s dream of working with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam finally came true. Telugu and Tamil star Nani, will apparently lend his voice for actor Dulquer Salmaan (Mammooty's son) in Telugu version of Ok Kanamani, Ok Bangaram, directed by Mani Ratnam.

“There was no way I was going to refuse. I got a call from the Mani Ratnam himself asking me to lend my voice for his film, I was like, 'yes,my pleasure,'" shares Nani. The actor took to Twitter to announce the news. “For the first time i am giving my voice for another actor. When u get a call from the legend himself..how can u not,” he posted. “Finally got to work with mani sir for OK Bangaram ..hope bigger things follow :),” he further wrote.

"Guess what? He actually sat next to me to explain what exactly he wanted. And now, I understand why he's such a great filmmaker. In one of the scenes where Dulquer, who is wearing headphone, has to say 'enduku' (why?), I said the word very casually, but Mani sir insisted that I say it a little aloud since that's how we do in normal life when there's music blaring in our earphones. That's the kind of attention to detail he brings to every scene and dialogue in his films," says Nani to a leading English daily, adding, "I have been told that Mani sir is happy with my work.Maybe that's a good sign of things to come."
