Nara Rohit Says Tuntari Is A Fun Film With A Quirky Love Story

The recently released film Tuntari is the remake of the Tamil film Maan Karate and stars Nara Rohit in the lead role. It tells the story of a young man who uses a boxing tournament as a technique to woo his love interest. The actor opened up about the shooting for the film and also spoke about his character.

Nara stated that the boxing sequences in the film took a lot out of him. He lost a lot of weight after shooting for eight straight days. Talking about the film, the actor revealed, “It is a fun film loaded with a quirky love story and plenty of entertainment. My character in the film will be a departure from my hitherto intense onscreen persona. I'm playing a chilled out guy and I pulled all the stops to get the comedy right. Konni scenes lo nannu chusi shock ayanu. I didn't think I could do that. Over ayinda ani doubt kuda ochindi”.

Nara also stated that he danced a lot in the film for which he had to incorporate the Vizag slang. He plays a Visakhapatnam boy and talking about the accent, Nara revealed, “I have to thank my training in acting for that. My trainer made me practise different accents of Telugu, and that was very useful now! It was super easy to play a Vizag guy”. Tuntari has been directed by Kumar Nagendra and stars Latha Hegde, Kabir Duhan Singh and Pujitha Ponnada.
